Should my first car be '95 nissan pathfinder?
-
my friend is selling it. I got my license a few years ago, and didn't drive at all after that, so I completely forgot how to drive... so pretty much starting out fresh. i know i have to practice lots... i'm worried maybe this car (or SUV?) is hard to maneuver because it looks so long? It has a new gas pump, starter and battery. It has 144,000 miles :D I know nothing about cars, though!

Answer:
If you trust your friend, maybe. The prob isnt learning how to drive it, practice will do tht, but rather the condition. Does it have maintenance records? Will your friend warrant it will pass inspection? A 95 wont have the modern computer diagnositic system, OBD-II and could be harder to diagnose probs on. Take it to a Nissan dealer for a pre-purchase check, maybe $100, be sure they run the VIN on their database.
