How do I quit my job? Never quit a job before.?

• I have a part time job at Gallup Poll as a telephone interviewer. I don't like my job and I wish to quit ASAP. I have two job interviews at other places lined up. I doubt if I have to do the two weeks notice for the sake of replacements since we get a new of workers every month. How do I quit my job? I'm 16.

  You could just walk but that is "burning bridges". Even though it is part-time (most states have rules for youth work hours), I think writing out a resignation is a good thing to do. Give it to the boss in an envelope and tell him if he wishes to talk about it, you are available. Try to tell him about your reasons (not my thing is good enough -- do not go into drama), also perhaps commit to two weeks if you can so that your next employer sees you will not let them hang if you move on ...
