Can you patent the idea of stickers on something?
-
Can an idea, lets say I had this originally, of printing on the back of a sweatshirt. Could I have patented that initially? Or the only thing patent'able would be the "type of unique" ink or/and the specific design? I have an idea but it doesn't require any unique 'creation' or 'formula'. It is just something nobody has done or is doing....

Answer:
Emanon: YES... you can patent it if it is new, novel, and useful... Take a look at the search link on the web below to see if you can find anything like yours... http://provisionalpatentvideo.com/patent-instructions/Provisional_Patent/Patent.html Otherwise, perhaps you might look at a copyright... http://www.take5inc.com/copyright/
