Well first of all avoid any and all products by Sally's Beauty Supply or any African products like Organics or Root Stimulators. IF THE PRODUCT IS NOT USDA CERTIFIED, Do not, do not use it! Everyone will give you advice on this product and that product but its junk. Those products contain chlorine and alcohol and sulfates. Who puts chlorine and alcohol in they're hair and expects it to be nice? Any word that has the prefix CHL on the ingredients list is Chlorine. Such as Chloride=Chlorine Matter of a fact if you cant understand the label its bad. 1) I only use USDA Organic Products 2) Just because the product says it Organic that is usually a lie. Here is the break down of how Organic Products work 1)Organic label- 30% of the ingredients are allowed by law to be unorganic 2)100% Organic- 10-15% of the ingredients are allowed by law to be unorganic ***3)USDA CERTIFIED ORGANIC- THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT TO LOOK FOR. ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE USDA ORGANIC STAMP. THAT MEANS THE GOVERNMENT STEPPED IN AND MADE SURE ALL THE INGREDIENTS ARE 100% ORGANIC The USDA doesn't play. When they say its organic it is for real. I use a product from Dr Bronners. www.drbronners.com They sell USDA Certified Organic products. Not only should you switch with hair products but with all products. Soaps, toothpaste, lotion, mouthwash, shaving cream, even food (remember pink slime). Try to make that complete transition over to USDA Certified. That crap you by from Rite Aid and CVS has all kinds of poison in it. Some of them can cause infertility, sterility, and affects the brain and heart. The body as a whole. It is not immediate but these chemicals they put in those products could have long term affects on the body. You can also buy Dr. Bronner's on ebay. You may find a better deal on there. If you go on Dr. Bronner's website they want a minimum of $20 and will provide free shipping. Unlike ebay where you can pick and choose what you want. The website does have items that ebay does not though. The hair products I use by them are the liquid castile soap (peppermint) , Shikashi hair rinse, and the leave in Peppermint hair cream along with a dab of Argan oil that I add in myself. The liquid Castile soap is the good good good stuff. All organic and cleans like a charm. Dont get the bar soap it doesnt clean as well. * If you are going to use it all over (vaginal) buy the unscented baby castile liquid soap. I hope this helps. My hair feels great. I dont even need a relaxer anymore. This is a product for everyday use though. Many people think they can wash every 2 weeks. Do you know how dry your hair gets in 2 weeks. I wash everday or every other day. If you cant comb your hair, comb it under the shower. It will comb out under the shower everytime. I use the Castile soap to wash then the Shikashi rinse then follow up with the Leave in Conditioner. However, I do not use the shampoo everyday. Maybe 2x a week but I am either rinsing with the Shikashi or just water. Leave in Conditioner everyday with the dab of Argan Oil. I also wear my hair in a bun everyday. That's just my style (protective). My hair used to be really course now it is wavy and beautiful. The key is not to try to make your hair soft. Soft things break don't they. Make it strong. Tha'ts what the products I've mentioned do. It may feel stringy or tough from the Castile soap but your hair is stronger. It's only tough for like a week I dont have that problem anymore. Beautiful Strong hair now. Remember keep combing in the shower. Apply Leave in Conditioner and comb it through. Put it in a bun. Remember no junk from the stores. Check out the websites that sell USDA stamped products. If it didn't come straight from the Earth what are you using it for? If you dont recognize the ingredients dont buy it. With USDA you recognize all ingredients. If you dont just ask what that ingredient is. I didn't recognize one ingredient once and they clarified for me. It's with the liquid and bar castile soap. It was actually the process it goes through to make the soap liquid or bar. It was nothing harmful. If they cant answer your question, leave them alone.
