What Are The Games For Galaxy Fit?

Question on current wii games?

• So I bought a wii around release, and basically thought it was pretty awful. Can't remember a game on it I enjoyed for more than a couple hours, which was dissapointing because I loved the gamecube. I then moved on to the 360 and have enjoyed it ever since. Anyway, while waiting for borderlands 2 and the skyrim DLC to come out, I need some games to play (Besides minecraft, which I have and am loving, but it's something I'd rather play "on the side".) Looking into the wii, I found out some games came out that I'm actually a little dissapointed I missed (which is surprising, because stuff like wii fit and wii sports was absolute crap). I'm just wondering your opinions on these four games 1. Super Mario Galaxy- Mario sunshine is one of the few games I look back at with rose tinted nostalgia glasses. Say what you want about it, but I thought mario sunshine was just about as perfect a game as a platformer could get (In my opinion, it put mario 64 to shame) I'm almost certain I'm going to buy this one, because it's only like ten bucks on ebay and it looks awesomely similar to mario sunshine. At the very least I'll have myself a nifty little nostalgia trip. 2. Super Mario Galaxy 2- The first one is like ten bucks, so that's basically a given. This one, though, is like 40. I guess I'll see how I feel about number one, but is it really that much of an improvement? The game review websites seem to think so, but I don't really want to shell out 40 bucks if it's not absolutely exceptional 3. Smash bros brawl- Again, I loved the first two. Recently even, me and a couple buddies have taken to playing melee drunk as hell and it really just does not get boring. Again though, kind of expensive etc. How is it compared to melee? 4. Skyward Sword- I've heard amazing things about this game. It was even GOTY over skyrim on some sites (And I didn't think anything had a snowballs chance in hell at beating skyrim) However, I have my qualms about this one. For one, it's still really expensive. For two, the last ttime I played a zelda game was when I was like nine and I remember it being to damn hard for me back then. Of course, since then I've gotten much better at games (I breezed through skyrims hardest difficulty like nothing). However, while I love the idea of zelda (especially majoras mask) I really don't want to relive frustrating multi-day dungeons only to find out I can't figure out how to get past the queens fat *** in the water dungeon (Damn you, ocarina of time). So how hard is this one? Also, any other wii games you think are worth picking up? The older the better because I'd rather pick up a ten dollar one like galaxy lol.

  Unfortunately, I don't have a proper opinion on the Mario Galaxy games, as I have never played them. A Mario game has never really kept my interest long enough for me to finish it.  Brawl is amazing—I got it when it came out, and I still play it (even by myself). One of my favorite parts about Brawl is that there really isn't any motion control. You can use a GameCube controller with it, which is nice. I really like the Sub Space Emissary part of the game, which is a new addition to the Smash Brothers game. There is the traditional one player option, but this one player (which is also available to play with two people) is an adventure story. I really like it because it operates with all of the Nintendo characters living and fighting in the same universe (which of course is the premise of Smash Brothers, but this one has an active plot). My favorite is how Peach and Zelda hang out, but, at any rate, basically all of the characters band together to fight their collective enemies. Another enjoyable aspect that comes from the Wii is the connection to the Internet so that you can play with your friends without being in the same room. I thought that was really cool, because I have friends all the way on the other coast, and we would play against each other. Unlike Sony, though, Nintendo doesn't offer headsets to talk, so we just used Skype when we played. You can also play against strangers. Skyward Sword was a great game, with a few weaknesses that are really only personal preferences. 1. Motion Control. In some respects, the motion controls happily enhanced the game—like when you shoot an arrow, you actually move the Wii remote and Nunchuck as if you were drawing the bow. However, I'm left-handed and the game was designed to be very motion sensitive, but only to right-handed players. You can imagine how it can get frustrating. 2. Graphics. I didn't care for the cell-shaded, but, again, that's personal preference. Anyway, it had a good plot and good characters, although Link's sidekick is a little annoying (I grew to like her, all in all). Don't worry about it being too difficult. Without giving too much away, there's something called "dowsing", which is basically like playing "hot or cold" when Link is looking for something. Your guide, Fi, gives you lots of information and hints, and there's actually an in-game walkthrough—it's a Sheikah stone that shows you videos of what you're supposed to do if you get stuck at a certain part. I hope that doesn't give too much away (personally, the less I know about a game before I play it, the better), but those are all things you learn in the beginning.  Specifically for the Wii, I would recommend Mario Kart—it's one classic game that was happily enhanced by motion control, because you actually use a steering wheel. This is another game I got when it came out and I still play it, although it's definitely now more of a play with friends game, after unlocking everything. Mario Kart can also connect to the Internet like Brawl, so you can play strangers (and probably friends, but I've never tried so I don't remember). Lastly, I highly recommend Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. Now, while there IS a Wii version, I recommend the GameCube version (which works in the Wii with a GC controller and memory card). I think that the gameplay is superior. Unlike SS, TP on the Wii was not designed with motion controls in mind. It was originally planned for the GC, but they pushed back the release date so they could release it with the Wii, so the game was merely *adapted* for motion controls. I first played and replayed TP on the Wii, but the fact that Link is right-handed in it (if you don't know, they mirrored the entire game to make him right-handed because most people are righties) frustrated me so much that I went out and got the GC version (which is cheaper, I'm pretty sure). Now that I only replay the GC version, I have come to learn how much I prefer classic controllers. Anyway, controls aside, the general gameplay is amazing (I don't want to give away the plot, so I can't explain what I mean, but Link is very unique in this game, if you don't already know). The plot and characters/character development is also incredible—Link's sidekick in this game is my favorite Zelda character in the whole series. Not to mention, I love the graphics. Basically, I love everything about this game. Also, unlike SS, it's more of a classic Zelda game (e.g., taking place in Hyrule, although there are other similarities, because the game takes place 100 years after the events of OoT and MM), but with a brilliant and dark twist. I adore this game. I've played it at least thirty times!
