I feel really scared and depressed, can somebody logical and smart please explain these one by one? :(?
-
I'll just post this question again because there wasn't any nice answers. :( SORRY! I'm a really paranoid and timid person, and I buy really easily into conspiracy theories and worry about them endlessly until somebody manages to say something that calms me down. So I was hoping somebody would do that for this issue of mine. I really love KPOP, and I came across SHINee's Lucifer music video. I know the song isn't literally meaning Lucifer, but their dance move really freaked me out. At the end of their dance, they hold up one hand with a finger pointing up and the other hand with a finger pointing down. Isn't that the same hand gesture as the Baphomet? And what makes it creepier is that the title of the song is Lucifer. :/ It just really scared me a whole lot, and I'm so scared that the conspiracy theories would be real. Also, there's this person on the internet called the Vigilant Citizen. His/Her site is super super popular, and he/she manages to point out links and symbols that 'proves' that the conspiracy theories are real everywhere. Is this person able to be trusted? What makes this creepier is the amount of people that agrees and believes this person. I'm really troubled, and I hope that somebody can explain these to me one by one and calm me down. Thank you.

Answer:
People pretend to do satanic or occult stuff on albums to generate controversy and free publicity. They are marketing towards people who want to buy things to shock people and piss their parents off, and crusaders like the Vigilant Citizen give them free advertising, and they know it. It is a marketing ploy, nothing more. There are no spirits or magical powers associated with this, which is easily testable (and I tested a lot of these when I was younger). People believe and spread these conspiracies because they want them to be true. It makes their lives more interesting, and it provides an easy solution to life's difficulties: if only we can stop the evil person making life suck, it can be the paradise it was meant to be. It is wishful thinking disguised as cynicism.

If those people point out credible facts backed up by credible sources and research, then they're not conspiracy theorists.
Anyone who pushes conspiracy theories cannot be trusted to be truthful. Ignore them. But you might want to ask why you are paranoid and timid. Do you get a buzz off of being afraid? If so you need to find healthier ways to enrich your life.

It's not going to help to have people feed your paranoia. You need treatment.

Satan is slowly taking over every area of what use to be God's here which is normal since the Bible says this will happen the closer we get to the end of the World. Jesus will be returning soon and honestly do not worry about the conspiracy theories. They are out there but we just keep our eyes on jesus and he will hold us up out of the mire.

People see signs in everything and if you are paranoid, you will start to see these signs. That makes you just as loony as them. In reality, none of it is true. Be it Lucifer, God, or Goddess, each of their plans would be divine. Life isn't some hidden clue game where you run around finding pieces to a puzzle that the deity of your choice supposedly hid. Turn off the radio, turn off the TV. Put this person from your mind because nothing good can come from someone or something that scares you.

SHINee's song simply means that their anti-fans are treating them mean as if they (as in the anti-fans) are Lucifer himself. The ending pose means that, though the anti-fans are mean, SHINee is on top and the anti-fans are on the bottom. Never listen to Internet gurus because they can still lie to you to scare you or make money from you by saying they can keep you safe. They are as trustworthy as any guru, which is not very. As A Pink's NaEun said on her me2day " It is better to know nothing and be happy than to know everything and fear all (copied from SNSD'sYoonAh)"
