I cannot pay for my ebay item.

How do I sell an item on ebay and I pay for shipping?

  • An item I'm trying to sell on ebay is ending in about 4 hours, and I'm trying to get someone to buy it, so I thought if instead of the buyer having to pay the $4 shipping fee, I would pay for it, maybe that would gain more interest for the item. What do I do in order for me to pay for shipping? I'm new to selling on ebay.

im pretty sure you just have to let it run out. I don't think revisions can be made this close to the end of the auction. If it doesnt sell this time around, relist it with free shipping and make sure its in the right category. You can also try a very low opening bid of 99 cents. That usually gets bidders started. If the price doesnt get near where you want it, you can end the auction and cancel all the bids as long as its NOT less than 12 hrs from ending. We use this some times to test a new items value.
