Using Laptop as main system AND second monitor?

So I have a laptop and a monitor. I want to make my monitor the primary monitor and my laptop's screen as the second monitor. How do I do this? Just to be clear, I'm NOT using a desktop computer so I can't just connect my laptop to my computer and set up dual monitor. I'm using my laptop as the main system and I want it to also be the second monitor.
