How to get rid of firewall blocking torrent software?

  • torrent sites such as kick *** torrents and pirate bay were not were working.. so i asked what to do on yahoo Answers.. and on someones advise..i installed "Hotspot Shield"... With its help.. i was able to open the sites... But now the problem is.. while installing hotspot shield.. i remember putting a tick mark on something related to a firewall... and im pretty sure that this firewall is blocking my torrent software.. i need help on how to change the settings of hotspot shield and stop the firewall from blocking my torrent software... urgently.. im new to this ...
