Can I go to any Los Angeles Superior Courthouse, in Los Angeles County or does have to be Metropolitan?
-
I need to go to court about a traffic ticket, my question is, does it have to be the Metropolitan Courthouse or can I go to any LA Superior Courthouse in Los Angeles County? I keep hearing horrible things about the Metropolitan Courthouse, and I just wanted to know if I can go to a different one. Any advice would be helpful.

Answer:
You have to go to the courthouse stated on the ticket.

Your ticket should tell you where you have to go. You don't typically get to choose a Court unless you are bringing the action and even then, there are strict limits based on jurisdiction and venue rules.
