How to record games on PC in HD?

How do i record ps3 games with in HD? capturecard ?

• I've been wanting to record games via a capture card for quite some time now, although i've heard that it can only be in SD and others say it can be done in HD. Not knowing alot about the product, i have a few questions 1. Can i play a game in HD and record it on a SD capture card? 2. If possible, what do i need to play in HD and record in HD? 3. I've heard of using some sort of PVR not knowing specificly how to set this stuff up if anybody knows a link to a forum or site that has a guide or walkthrough feel free to post it aswell.   if you want HD get a hauppague HD pvr which can be bought on amazon its not that cheap though, and for a recording program i would go with sony vegas pro 9 or 10.. just google these and search on amzon for the best deals and youll be reocrding in no time. note: a dazzle dvc 100 which isnt HD but is alot cheaper (can be found on amazon) comes with a free recording program called pinnacle studios 14 so search for that two on amzon.
