How do you open the items of rar file?

Rar file problem while extracting?

• I downloaded a movie which is a 3 part rar files. I then extract it and theres no problem occured. The problem is i cant play the avi file(im using WMP - the latest ones) which is extracted from the rar files. I got the error # C00D1199 Windows Media Player can't play the file. This error can occur for a variety of reasons. I check the total size of the rar files and it is 762MB while the extracted one is 760MB only. How can i play the avi file? Is it because of the extraction?

  Your problem is nothing to do with the RAR file. The problem is Windows Media Player. The movie is encoded in a format for which WMP does not have a codec for. Try downloading and using VLC Media Player instead, that will play pretty much anything you throw at it, or downloading both DivX and XVid codecs, the movie is probably encoded in one of them formats and WMP can't automatically find a codec for either of them formats.
