BA vs BSc for computer science?
-
I am an Ontario high school student (in Canada) and have been doing some research as to my post-secondary career. I know I want to go into university and I know I want to first do a bachelor in computer science however no BCS (Bachelor of Computer Science) degree exists. However most schools do offer computer science programs in one of two ways, either a BA (Bachelor of Arts) or a BSc (Bachelor of Science) so I was just wondering what the difference is and which one is more "powerful" or more impressive. FYI, I want the degree so I can become a high-end computer programmer or a software architect if that makes a difference.

Answer:
It depends. At some universities, BS degrees contain more science and math classes. However this is not always the case. You'll need to compare the required classes for the two degrees for each university you want to attend.
