Are my skateboard bushings bad?

My Skateboard Bushings are Ripped?

• My skateboard bushings are ripped from the bottom and a bit from the side (Royals). I think they're broken in but, should I replace them? And what brands are decent?

  you dont need to replace them if they aren't effecting your boards performance. a lot of trucks come with crappy bushings when you buy them new. independents especially(I've been skating them for 10 years now), they always rip or chunk out...I've never felt the need to replace them tho. but as i say, if they are really effecting your abilities then they're only around 10$ to replace them for both trucks... ...brand wise, i could really tell you seeing as I've never needed to replace them. I do know that the come in different densities depending on how lose you like your tucks(soft, medium, or hard). Your best bet is to talk to the person helping you at the store your buying them from. hope that helps. happy shredding :)
