What is being a copy-editor like?

I want to become a copy editor, I enjoy reading books and I'm pretty good at correcting errors, and I have a few questions, do copy-editors just edit newspaper articles? Is it stressful, where do you work and how many hours. What is the average salary of a copy editor Thanks!

Salary would depend on industry and city, expect to start in $30,000 to $35,000 range? Hours could vary depending on workload. 9 to 5 jobs are hard to come by!
