How often do female bettas have eggs?

My bettas are breeding roght now but my female betta wont release any eggs what do i do?

  • its maybe becase the male is a little smaller than her but i dont know can someone help me out? :/

  • Answer:

If the male allowed her into his territory and "embraced" her, she should be laying eggs. See if either the male or both male and female seem to be picking things up and putting them into the bubblenest. The eggs are pretty hard to see, as they're clear when they're first laid. If she doesn't lay any at all, even after he chases her away, she may be egg bound, which is usually fatal.
