Where can I download the Original Default texture pack for minecraft?
-
So I thought it would be fun to edit the texture pack myself.... well I can't find the original default. I have looked in every file on my macbook pro and can't find it anywhere. I look online, all I find is edits. Please, if you have a link, just give it to me, don't try to walk me through finding it. The game runs fine, but the texture pack doesn't exist. I've tried all the tutorials. Rather than go off some random texture pack, I'd rather stick to one I recognize. So original/default for 1.2.5 of minecraft please

Answer:
you don't, you open the jar with winrar or 7zip or some other capable archiver and take the files out manually

Delete your .minecraft and open minecraft back up. Then the original will reset in the Texture Packs
