What is the average italian phone bill?

What rights do I have if I'm paying a phone bill but my phone is broken?

  • I have cpp insurance with Meteor, began my bill pay plan with both both Meteor and CPP for duration of 18 months long and for the last 6 months my phone has been in repair for basically being faulty. My sim is in a phone I provided for myself. Surely the bill plan covers the cost of the phone that I got for free because it was bill pay. It can't need to be fixed for so long; I've gone into the shop twice looking for it and they tell me they will let me know. Can I claim money back on my bill or any form of compensation for not having my phone?!?!?!?!?! Six months!!

    The bill only provides service. The phone itself is not part of the service. Unfortunately when the equipment is faulty, the issue is with the manufacturer (Samsung, Nokia, etc) and not the service provider. Total pain, I know, but it's sort of like asking the cable company to reimburse you when the free television they provided for you doesn't work.

Six months? Someone is having a laugh. You should know in six days if it can be fixed or replaced. If the service provider supplied the phone, then they are the seller ['free' or not]. It is for them to stand behind the phone. They either return it repaired or replace it - immediately - or you cancel your contract. That'll make them send you a new phone sharpish. This is just ridiculous.
