How can a 17 year old get a job during the summer?

Should I get a summer job at a fast food resturaunt? 17 year old?

  • So I applied for a job at the golf course this summer a couple weeks back and never got a call back. I need to get a job this summer but I don't know how desperate I am. My friend wants me to work with her at DQ and was thinking that would be a good backup, for the golf job. Should I apply to more than one fast food resturaunts? What are the best places to work at? I live by pretty much every resturaunt possible and have a car. Please help. Thanks

    Make sure that you put you have a car on your applications and resume. I have heard people that apply to 1 job per day.

I worked wendys for 5 years, the job is very very easy! They will start at minimum wage. Now if you apply for a grocery store, you make more cash. I worked at a grocery store for a yr with my wendys job and the grocery store started me a dollar more than i was already making at wendys. But any fast food is gunna be real easy. Best of luck!
