Does a 5-900mhz 2way Splitter degenerate my cable signal and phone signal?
-
Hello and Thank you for helping. I redid my basement and have only 1 cable feed in wall. I had it hooked up to my HD cable and it looked great. I realized that I still needed to hook up my cable telephone modem. I only had one feed so I had to use a splitter to send 1 cable wire to the HD receiver and 1 cable wire to the cable telephone modem. As soon as I did this my picture on nice expensive 3d Panasonic tv went to crap. Fuzzy and grainy. So the splitter must have degenerated the signal. How do I fix this with only 1 cable feed outlet in wall in basement? And can the phone or cable phone modem be sending out frequencies that are interfering with the cable signal? Thanks so much all! Shaun
