Is Peace and Conflict Studies the same as International Relations?
-
My college doesn't offer the major I wan't but this college is the only option for me now until I transfer to a regular university and have more money. My school does offer Peace and Conflict studies but I want to major in International relation and I was wondering if I studied Peace and Conflict Studies for the first year or two, would it be easy it be easy to switch as a International Relations major in the future...

Answer:
They're not the same thing, but they're close enough that most of the credits would probably transfer to an IR major. Other good options would be economics and political science/government.
