Bleeding while on birth control?

Am I bleeding from sex or from birth control? Please help!?

• Ok so my boyfriend and I have been having sex regularly for about 3 or 4 months now and I'm on a birth control shot called deprovera or something like that.... Anyways within the past month we've started having sex everyday and I've noticed slight bleeding after having sex. The bleeding happens slmost every time afterwards. The bleeding is always minimal. Its usually light pink or even sometimes a dark brownish color kinda like the beginning and end of your period and very rarely is it actually red. I never bleed during sex just after. Could this be a problem or is it just spotting due to the birth control? I know it's not my period because the bleeding never picks up. I know I'm not pregnant so please don't tell me that's why.... Any advice as to whether or not this is caused by the birth control shot or if it's something I should have checked out?

  bleeding after sex is normal my gyno says. mine is caused my endometriosis. if you have never been to a gyno you should go since your sexually active. could also be from the birthcontrol shot too. if you have a gyno i would give them a call and ask them. it's always better to be safe than sorry. good luck!
