How do i make my monitor brighter?

  • the contrast and brighteness is up 100% i need it more brighter though, peopel said go to the control panel but idk wat to do.. give me intructions

This very much depends on the make and model of your graphics card so these instructions will have to be generic. You need to go into the control panel for your graphics card, this is probably located on the system tray but if you can't find it there, it should also be located in the programs menu. ATI call it the "Catalyst Control Centre" (CCC) and NVIDIA call it the "NVIDIA Control Panel". You need to find a section that deals with your monitor and that is where additional brightness, contrast and gamma controls should be located.

100% of brightness is as bright as you can make. Sorry about that!

It depends on how old your monitor is and what controls were installed the ct monitors controls were usually under the leading edge of the monitor. led, lcd monitor controls are located on the front, om a menu button. I've been doing this a long time if you cant agjust the brighteness then the monitor could be on the virge of failing.
