How do you clear everything off a Mac as if it were new?

How do i delete everything on my mac? please help! i lost the discs!?

i want to delete all photos everything! im selling my macbook pro so everything has to go. oh and i lost the discs and stuff..all i really have is my computer :( oh and how do i delete my yahoo account ?

Just go through all of your documents, programs, pictures videos etc... and highlight them all. Then delete them all. And to delete your account, go to this page http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?locale=en_US&page=content&y=PROD_ACCT&id=SLN2044&pir=NhezahVibUn3_ZmimeowffVik0HqGmJtLyrFlxdNyBjCJ0qu2J1.i0MvgzxtOUmpgFUDRgRx7BMgw5i8XxZO59ycX2FzuA-- and click "Account Termination" and sign in.
