What should I wear in Kenya?

What is appropriate to wear in Kenya in May/ early june?

  • I am traveling to kenya in about a week and trying to figure out what is best to where. The temperature is going to be a high of 73/74 usually with a high humidity. Is that cold enough that jeans would steal be appropriate? Anyone travel to this region and know? Also what the locals where? thanks

    I dont know exactly which town/city you are going to;But if you are coming to Nairobi you should carry warm clothes Jeans, a light jacket and a sweeter should be sufficient But if you are planning to stay upto July carry heavy warm clothes.It sometimes gets extremely cold in Nairobi in the months of July and Aug

Hey, i agree with Mkenya Halisi, but then you haven't told us which country you live in, cos cold to us is warm to an American or European who has experienced snow, we do not experience extreme temperatures. That said, the weather pattern in Kenya has changed due to global warming, the cold temperatures that we used to experience in July start mid June.... You can wear whatever you like, i'm in the office in leggings and a t-shirt.
