Should I write to tenants before hiring management place?
-
I think I'm going to attempt trying a management place to take care of my rentals. Should I write to the tenants first to let them know I'm doing this? I don't care to be bothered anymore, so let the management place deal with it. I'm afraid they'll still keep calling me and bugging me once I've hired a place. I do not want this, so how do I make sure it doesn't? If it was new tenants they wouldn't even know me or where I live, which would be NICE. The ones I have now know where I live & call or drop by to leave their rent.

Answer:
Nope. Your property manager will send hello letters to all of the tenants explaining that they have taken over management and that rent need to be deposited with them. You might need to sign the letter though. When they call you after that, tell them to call the management office for all inquiries.
