Does the PSP-2000 battery work with the PSP-1000?

Would the battery work if I got one with a higher number of cells for my laptop?

• I have a Acer Aspire 5552 with a 4-cell Li-ion battery Can anyone tell me if I bought for example an 6-cell Li-ion battery would it work for my laptop, or would I have to buy a battery with the exact same amount of cells as the first that came with the laptop(in my case a 4-cell battery)? I want to know this because I don't want to waste my money on a battery that won't work in my laptop. If you have time could you please tell me a website for where I can buy one from? Also (if you have time) can you please tell me what you think about a 4-cell Li-ion battery? is it a battery that lasts long or is it a bad battery that doesn't last long?

  The higher the cell number=longer battery life:) Personally i would not get online as may end up with wrong voltage etc. Acer could give you exactt one you need though going to your local computer store a compatible one at a fraction of the cost. i too have an acer, my battery lasts 8 hours and a replacement from acer over £100 local got exact match £67:)
