What is the best gift for a girls graduation?

  • My friend's graduation is in a couple of weeks and I really like her in fact if I knew what falling in love was like, she would probably be the girl I fall in love with. She knows I like her alot but idk how she feels about me and we are really close. I want to get her a gift for graduation but idk what. She likes practical stuff. Like tshirts, shoes, jeans etc. She's not a girly girl. She doesn't carry a purse, she doesn't wear makeup, and she doesn't wear jewelry. She says she never really cares about how she looks but she make sexiness and beauty so effortless and natural without doing a single thing to herself. Iv bought her jewelry for birthdays and Christmas and all she thinks the jewelr I get her is pretty I haven't seen her wear it. The first necklace I got for her was a butterfly necklace and her mouth was open in shock but I never seen her wear it. I got her a Teddy bear once and she said awww and she just looked at it and smiled saying she loves stuffed animals then she called her friend to brag about it but since then i dont know where her teddy bear is at her house. I got her a Tshirt that she wanted for a while and Iv seen her wear it sometimes. So it's hard to find something for her especially since I like her and I want to make her heart melt. I was thinking of getting a locket with her grandmother who died when she was younger in it but I need a picture and I don't know if she would wear it. She misses her alot and I'm pretty sure she will cry if she saw it especially since that's the one person she wishes was at her graduation. I want to make it seem like I want to be more than friends.

    I think that the locket is a good idea! She will know that you care about her enough to go through all that trouble. maybe u could get her a MASSIVE teddy bear, and u could buy her a personalized necklace, or dog tag maybe with engravings of the date she graduated, etc etc and put it around the teddy bear. (obviously the necklace is not for the teddy bear) would be cute!

there is one thing you can give someone and never be wrong, a gift card, but i'd pair it with something more personal like the locket so she knows your interested and yet at the same time she can get something practical too. L

Thoughtful gifts are always the best gifts. Ones that you wouldn't expect someone could figure out. I like the idea of the grandmother locket, however since you've expressed she doesn't wear jewelry, and you've not seen her wear what you've already got her, maybe you could get a very nice picture frame with her grandmothers picture in it? What other kinds of things does she like, what is she really passionate about? You could get her a gift that best matches her personality. Another idea - And this is going to probably sound pretty cheesy, but if it were me on the receiving end I'd be one happy camper. Is to ask her mom for several pictures of her grandmother and make her a scrapbook of all the memories of them together. The fact that you MADE it will be a pretty sweet thing for her, because you put a lot of time, effort and thought into it.

I gave my best friend a DIY scrap book. Inside it I wrote about her in my opinion. I also wrote my hope for her future. You can write your feelings toward her there, along with her pictures. Try to find unique pictures of her along with pictures that will remind her of you, maybe a picture of both of you on a trip or stuff. If you're not crafty, you can go to a place where they sell scrap book things and ask them to make a scrap book for her. You can decorate the scrap book with things she likes, or things related with your previous gifts. if it's too complicated, you can give her other thing but try to make a card for her. Good luck :)
