Can employers see all of my previous jobs?

Are the jobs I work at during college going to effect my job prospects after I'm finished with school?

• I am 20 years old and I'm a college student. The only previous jobs I had were cleaning jobs which somewhat didn't like. I only did them because they paid more than min. wage. I wanted a job that didn't involve cleaning. I am smart, friendly, and respectful. I think b/c I have no experience in anything else, it makes it harder for me to find anything else. I got a call back from a call center, but turnover rates are high and it's not a good job from looking at reviews. I want to keep my job longer than a few months so employers don't see me as a student that comes and goes. I also got a phone call about a position as a food runner, but The college I go to is 20-25 min. and if I worked there, it would take at least 40 min. to get back there since whatever job I get I want to keep it. I actually want to keep and like this job since I only worked a few months at my other 2 jobs and had to quit b/c of school, but from now on, I will only take morning classes with an afternoon/evening job so there would be no need to quit anymore. If I don't find something else soon, should I just stick to cleaning since I'm still in college. Will the jobs I have now effect my chances of getting something better when I'm done with school? I'm just really frustrated that I can't get anything else. What should I do??

  It shows initiative that you worked and went to school; plus the cleaning jobs will probably fit around your schedule with school better than the other positions will. If you don't like cleaning I doubt you will like working in a call center or running food; I wouldn't quit what you have until you find something else you prefer.
