How To Unblock Minecraft At School?

Trying to Access Minecraft Multiplayer at School?

  • I have Minecraft installed successfully at school, and play single player regularly. I own a Minecraft account, and am playing 1.2.5. However, when I try to access a multiplayer server, it does it's polling, then states "can't reach server." I'm trying to access a private server my friend created that we pay to host, but it doesn't work with public servers either. Minecraft.net is blocked by our firewall. I've downloaded Hamachi, but cannot install due to lack of administrative access. Is there any software that will allow me to access multiplayer? Is there any coding (in or outside of Minecraft) that I can manipulate to give me an advantage? I appreciate anyone taking the time to answer me. I'm eager to continue our empire.

    No, unless you know the password or are on an admin computer. You also could ask them to allow Minecraft.net.
