Who is stronger Luffy or Sabo?

Anyone else think that luffy acts stupider than he really is?

• Well i was thinking now when i just watched one of the episodes about the fishmen Jinbeis story and Luffy "Fell asleep during the story" but i was thinking that he heard all of that and acted like he was asleep because he knew Nami had to make her own mind and act like not seeing Jinbeis tears because he really respects him. This could be a whole diffrent side to luffy or he just became more aware of the things happening around him. Even Zoro said that funny enough Luffy always knows exactly who he has to defeat(even though that was when they went to save Robin) and nami said "instincts" but i think that there is more to Luffy than meets the eye xD am i the only one?

  Luffy is smarter than he appears. But he just does what ever he wants and is really pig headed and does "stupid" stuff, or stuff in the opinions of other characters is really stupid. However, he knows what is going on. He knows what is going on around him. While other people are busy thinking about the consequences and over complicating a situation and busy being indecisive, Luffy can see the true heart of the matter and goes and punches a celestial dragon in the face because he shot his friend. He seems to have a very different world perspective than everyone else and that makes him smart and stupid. If anything I would say that the things that Luffy is called "stupid" for in not following social norms (wiki it), like eating a ton of food or asking really rude and weird questions and not understanding other social etiquette stuff. I think Luffy is the perfect example of Multiple Intelligences, aka smart in some subjects but not in others. He is smart in fighting and leadership, but not in communication and math, science, ..."book smarts".
