Are there any good acting agencies in Chicago?

What theater schools or acting agencies did most chicago actors like Michael Pena, John C. Reilly attend to?

  You have to be a whole lot more than 'willing' to be an actor - you have to want it with all your heart! The exact schools and agencies those actors attended are irrelevant. You'd need to get into a good acting school and study very hard for a couple of years at the very least and also get loads of experience taking leading roles in a wide variety of stage plays. Then you'd have to apply to a lot of good agencies and hope that one would accept you. Even after all that training there's no guarantee of ever getting any paid work. The average for drama school graduates is 2 or 3 weeks' paid acting work a year. And the actors who become really 'great' would have done so because of a huge natural talent and would have succeeded no matter what school they went to, or which agency they managed to get into.
