I have concrete blocks in my garden & i would like to grow cilantro/coriander & lettuce. Tips how to start plz?

  • So I wont be digging out anything as that isn't possible. what is the best way to grow coriander and lettuce? how deep does the soil have to be and what kind. what kind of container (if any) should i get. thank you ***

  • Answer:

Go to your local gardening store Buy these sacks of earth (they come in plastic bags, and you cut out the top and its made specially for growing things like tomatoes) or any soil that is 'suitable' for planting fruits/veg/plants, it will usually tell you on the packet (fertilizers included is a bonus) Plant seeds as advised in the bags. You dont need pots, but you can buy big long pots if you want. Usually each bag can hold up to 3 tomato plants, but it will tell you in instructions. If you want to grow 'root' plants like onions or carrots, deeper pots are needed (twice the length of the outcome of the roots, ie; twice as big as a carrot will be) Remember how to deter slugs.
