How do atheists get married?

How come atheists can get married but not homosexuals?

  • As an atheist, I don't follow any of your religions, meaning my whole existence is a "sin" Why am I allowed to get married but not gay people?

    Once gay people are banned from marrying in all 50 states, militant anti-gay activists will come for your marriages, too. And after you will be Muslims, Latinos, Blacks, Mormans, single parents, etc. It's all part of their evil long term agenda of turning the US into a theocracy. Some people believe that homosexuality is unnatural, wrong, an abomination, etc- so those who are homosexual are considered lesser citizens. Some people say that being homosexual is a choice. And for the Americans, "because the bible says so." I don't believe in any of this messed up crap. Homosexuals deserve love just as much as any human being does!

Your first statement is a contradiction, Atheists don't follow any religion, sin is a creation of religion, therefore, life without religion is not a sin.

Because the religious right hasn't yet found a Bible passage they can twist to say that atheists can't get married. As long as we keep them busy trying to ban same-sex marriage, they won't have time to look for one.

because the holy scriptures only allow marriage between a man and a women. It doesnt matter if ur atheist or not.. being an atheist is wrong according to the Holy scriptures, however, tht does not mean they cant get married.
