Samsung tocco lite unlock help?

  • My current phone just broke so I decided to use my old phone from now on (The Samsung Tocco Lite GT-S5230) but I put a lock on it a while ago and have forgotten it. I've tried lots of codes but it won't unlock. It displays a keypad (numbers 0-9, a '*' and a '#' but the hash is an 'unsupported character' so i can't use it) I can only make emergency calls so I can't get my IMEI number. To unlock it says 4-8 digits required. Is there any buttons I can press to reset the phone? I don't care if I lose anything. Because it's my old phone i don't want to pay to get it fixed if i'm honest... Thank you :)

    I had the same problem in the past, and I can't remember how it was resolved, but just pop into any mobile phone store or your network store, and they'll sort this out for you. Just take any of your personal I.D with you e.g. passport, bank letter, and they'll ask you to give them atleast 2 contact numbers you had saved on your device to prove that it's your phone. Once proved, they'll sort it out for you, by the way, for free of course.
