Why am i so hot and how can i cool myself down i cant sleep because of how hot i am and i even put icepacks on?

i need help like badly i cant sleep! yessterday night i had a slight fever of 99.4 to 99.8 and when i went upstairs to go to sleep i was really hot i opened the window and was still hot so i kicked the cove off and took my sweat pants off and even lifted up my shirt to uncover my back but was still very hot! then finally i fell asleep but today i am sick i have a fever of 100.8 and i took ibuprofen but my tempature didn't go down until i put a cold wash rag on my head so its time for bed and downstairs i was freezing then i came up stairs and got a cold rag and put it on my head i was so hot it was uncomfortable so i went back down stairs and got 3 ice packs i put one on my back and one on my feet and one on the pack of my neck plus the cold rag on my head. but i am still hot :( so what can i do to get unhot and i cant turn up the air because it is already 73 degrees in the house and thats what my mom keeps it on so i am normally fine please help i woul like yo be cool and be able to go to sleep:(

relax, how old are you and what other symptoms are you feeling? email me drink lots of fluids you could have a fever.
