How do I start a fashion portfolio for college?

How do you START a portfolio? (For artist getting into Animation College).?

I'm a-little on my own here, and I don't know where to start, and how to do this. I'm 14, going on 15, a sophmore, and I want to apply to SVA, and a couple other colleges for animation. When making a portfolio, do you send in 15-20 pieces of original sketches, or copies? Do you send in a whole sketchbook, or do you send in a whole case of copies? Where do you make the copies? Because my printer is a load of crap, with spots everywhere. Can SOMEONE please give me a detailed, start from finish, on how to start a portfolio, and finish a portfolio. I am so confused on everything, help would be lovely.

Ask the school your trying to apply to. Online can't dictate that for you, you will only get a general idea.
