What should I wear to a interview at staples?

  • I feel a skirt is to dressy, but would a nice plain shirt with my black blazer, some jeans and heels, is that ok?? Should my hair be down or can I do a nice Dutch braid? Any interview tips? What kind of questions will be asked (my first interview)

    I think your outfit is fine! Just go easy one the heels, obviously don't go in 5 inch heels but maybe a kitten heel or just flats too. Business heels too although you might be able to pull it off with peep toes or slingbacks. Your hair sounds like a good choice so I say go for it. But for tips just be confident, and try to be as nice and courtesy as possible. Once I went to an interview and wore heels and the chair i was sitting on had metal legs. I have a bad habit of messing with my heels when I'm sitting down so about every ten seconds my heels would hit the chair and make a loud noise. By the end of the interview I could tell the guy was pissed. So just be nice and polite and be confident. Answer their questions honestly and most important be excited! Hope this helped!

Yeah, a skirt is not needed for this interview. A nice blouse is great and you don't really need the blazer. You can wear jeans but be sure they are your nicest jeans with a bootcut of flare leg. These types of jeans look nice and professional. Skinny jeans are too casual. High heels should absolutely be worn with a heel height around 4 inches. This will serve to dress up your jeans and provide a very professional appearance. I'd go with your hair down, simple jewelery if any and simple makeup. Be sure your nails are trimmed very short with no polish. Good Luck!

It would probably be just fine. Don't be afraid to wear the skirt though, it wouldn't be too dressy in my opinion. The braid will look more professional, but down is generally prettier, if it is down, make sure it is well taken care of. Good luck!
