How do you analyze a quote?

GS: How would you analyze this quote?

  • "girlies feel more entitled and empowered to snub a nice guy" To be honest, I don't know what that means. The "entitled" and "empowered" parts I mean. I thought they just rejected them and went on with their day, but the person who authored the quote sees meaning behind that. Maybe I'm wrong in interpreting it that way

  • Answer:

Entitled and empowered may be too strong. But she will get a little boost in her ego knowing that some guy found her so incredibly desirable that he would ask her for a date.

Ace...Bubbie! It simply means that they have much more solid sense of entitlement to treat a nice guy badly, and primp their ego a bit. Always happened for years - just a bit more feministy these days, and more boastful about 'powerful' (snores then gags).... Igor - how is that curriculum for the GS Remedial Studies Group coming along....I'm getting sick of handling these questions....

Hogwash. I think just because one girl may be like that then some guy makes a quote against girls because men like to pinpoint every stupid error of judgment we may make. I m so tired of trying to defend myself and other women because men pick of every little thing we do. Don t you think men too are much more attracted to snub nice girls and try to come up with some lame excuse to prefer a girl who is LESS committed to a relationship.
