Just got a fax/printer/scanner, do I leave it connected to the phone?

What to do when my cellphone (Optimus V) wont charge?

  • My phone has been really weird with charging. First of all, my charger is a USB charger, which means theres a USB side that can attach to a wall charger. It first started off with not charging, but then I later saw that it only charges when I left it alone flat on my bed or on a flat surface. When I pick it up, then it will stop charging. I'm wondering if it is the battery or the charger. I then connected my phone onto the computer, and the same thing happens. When I touch my phone, it disconnects from the computer, but when I leave it alone ,it becomes connected to the computer a second later. Later on, things got better, I got used to not touching my phone when it is charging. Then I went out og town in a hotel, and this is where it doesn't charge at all. So, as my battery was about to die, my friend uses his charger on my phone, and my phone charged up completely. As I got home, I used my charger to charge my dead phone again, but then this time thing got more weird. It begins to charge, but then you don't see the battery icon doing it's green motion letting me know that it's charging. When it's in lock mode, it says it's charging, but then the battery icon is just sitll at red, but it shows the lightning sign in the battery to show that its charging, but then the battery is not filling up green. A couple minutes passed and the battery is still at 2%. Thne I checked my phone info, and it says the charging was under "USB", but usually hwen it charged on the wall, it doesn't say USB. Help please?

  • Answer:

It is likely the charger cable itself. The micro-usb end of the cable tends to wear out quickly, due to the small size, and frequent wear and tear. Try a different charger, and see if your phone will charge on that.
