This girl wants me to 'make a move' on her through text?
-
First of all, I know I've already asked this, but I don't think I gave enough detail the first time. Let me use a big block of text to give a bit of background :) 3 or 4 weeks ago, I met a girl (I'm a senior in high school) when I was helping out a teacher after school. After a bit of small-talk and making her laugh, she sends me a message on Facebook, asking for my phone number. I'm not exactly the most attractive human being alive, so I don't have much experience in the dating world, or hell, the world itself, but that's another story entirely. So we start texting, and after a few days she asks me to go to the movies with her and some friends. I'm thinking hell yeah, a social life, who knew? We go to the movies, then chill on the bank of a river a few times before going to her house. I've been to her house a total of 3 times now, and we're pretty close. The second visit, she told me straight up that she really liked me, and I told her I liked her too. Then, disaster reared it's ugly head :l After a few more times of texting her, I still haven't exactly made a move. Ya see, she has a job, a liscense, pretty much everything a senior needs to be successful. I, on the other hand, have nothing. So I don't want to ask her on a date, because although I can pay for it, it just feels...stupid to ask her on a date where she has to come pick me up and ferry me around (Yeah I know, I'm working on my license now). So asking her out on a date is pretty much a no-go. We continue texting. She's practically begging for me to make a move, in some cases quite literally. Hell, about 10 minutes ago she texted me saying I should make a move. I said no, because it's stupid to 'make a move' through text (Besides that, I have no idea what that even means). I tell her I'm old fashioned, and would rather do it in person. She says that we don't see each other enough for me to make a move in person. ANYWAY, now for the tl;dr version. You read all the background? Congrats. Have a cookie. I'm planning on having a midnight picnic with her, lit by torches and everything this weekend. She doesn't know. I'm not going to ask her yet, in case something goes wrong. She wants me to make a move on her now through text, I think that would ruin the magic/surprise of the entire picnic. On the other hand, she's a beautiful, and I'm afraid she thinks I'm losing interest, or I'm losing her interest. Do I 'make a move' through text (a tutorial for a total newbie would be awesome :) ) Or do I wait and spring the midnight picnic in the woods?

Answer:
Maybe tell her you don't want to make a move because you have a surprise? If something goes wrong you can always think of something else. You really should try to see her in person more. If she really likes you she won't care about things like if you have a car or a job. Talk to her about some of this. Good luck! :)
