How to draw a six pack?

Trying to get a more defined six pack while gaining muscle weight?

  • I'm trying to go add lean muscle mass and go up in weight to what I have. Not in a bragging way, I have a six pack, and a pretty decent one, however I've been really considering trying to cut a body fat percentage or two to start pushing eight, or at least get a killer defined six pack. My question is; is it possible to really define a six pack while trying to gain weight, since with muscle comes a little bit of fat, and since how defined or not a 6 pack is is all about body fat percentage I'm wondering if it is possible to really define my 6 pack while still gaining mass? I know cardio will cut body fat percentage to do this, but cardio is a killer for trying to gain mass, any help on this would be much appreciated!

  • Answer:

Gaining weight in pure muscle is a slow and tedious process(don't listen to people who confuse gaining weight in muscle & fat as gaining weight in pure muscle), you'll be lucky to gain a pound of straight lean muscle per month after your beginner gains, my current routine has 15 minutes of LIGHT cardio at the end of each workout just to burn a little fat. It's going to come mostly down to your nutrition, eat at a caloric surplus, get enough protein and eat HEALTHY. It's hard but in the long run it pays off.
