How can I to start my career as an actress?

Should I go to a conservatory or performing arts college first or start my career as an actress now?

  • I'm 14 and have dreamed of being an actress since I was 4. i'm not sure if i should try and start my career now or wait until i'm an adult after college. if i start my career now do you think i will only be able to be a child actress and never grow into an adult actress?

It depends, there will be a lot of rejects from auditions. I believe you should go to the college because directors are looking for talent and practice. The more practice and experience you have the better. I think it would be best to go to college and get that kind of experience before doing your first audition, but remember to do what you feel is right and your most comfortable with. If your confident you could get a role in a movie, go for it. Confidence is great in an audition. I wish you luck!
