What is the best language to start with?

What is the best programming language to start with if i want to learn programming for the first time ?

  • What is the best programming language to start with if i want to learn programming for the first time AND where is a tutorial for it or a book you would recommend that teaches it? i am expecting an order or an expand chart to start computer programming as a beginner and go further beyond as a pro ......so, is it possible to learn online ? if so ,is there any any specific websites to do so?

    Well, a lot of people say Python and Basic and good languages to start, which is what I started with, but to tell you the truth I found C++/Java to be more educational than those. People say Python and Basic are good starters because they teach you good habits, and is easy to understand. What I personally recommend (don't yell at me) is going into C++, because it makes you more aware of whats going on in the background, and the little things and reasons on why things happen. I am pretty sure thenewboston (youtube channel) has a C++ section, and he is great at teaching all sorts of computer related things so I would look into him. Find a good book, such as c++ for dummies all in one, which I found to be one of the only helpful for dummies books. There are tons of resources, and it really isn't that hard. It just takes time and patience.

Visual basic is a good language to start with and is fairly simple once you are familiar, Microsoft visual studio is a great program ti start with, hope this helps.
