Can I get an Arizona Driver's License?

If I can get my license on August 27th, but I take Drivers Ed, does that mean I can get my license right after the class in Arizona?

  • Answer:

You must be sixteen years of age or older to get a driver's license in Arizona. If you will not be sixteen by the end of your driver's education class, you will not be able to get your license. You must also complete 20 hours of supervised, behind-the-wheel daytime driving practice and 10 hours of supervised, behind the wheel nighttime driving practice to get your license.
