How do colleges recalculate GPA?

Two different GPA's how to calculate cumulative GPA? got two different gpa's at different colleges, need cumul?

  • Two different GPA's how to calculate cumulative GPA? got two different gpa's at different colleges, need cumulative for transfer purposes college 1: GPA = 2.250 (quarter system) college 2: GPA = 2.944 (semester system) i was thinking about averaging the two, but i have this feeling that it would be wrong to do so.... thanks in advance for those of you who answer my question.. : )
