Filing an LLC in PA but working in NY?
-
I'm in a situation where I would need to file to become an LLC before I relocate to NY, in order to become a Vendor for my company. It's merely for invoicing purposes since the company cannot pay individuals directly, and it would be headed by me and my wife as joint owners. I'm currently living in PA, and would be moving within the next month or so. I believe it would be easier for me to file in PA, since I'm already here, but I've been reading on the DOS website that you need a valid PA physical address (no PO boxes) in order to become an LLC, I'm not reading anything like that on the NY Department of State website however, so I'm wondering if I can file for a NY LLC while living in PA, for when I move to NY without a NY address... Any help is really appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Answer:
UPS Store in Pennsylvania can be used as a valid address. It is not a PO Box.
