What does an office representative do?

What is hourly pay for a State Farm Office Representative Agent Team Member?

  • I have an interview at an independent agent's office in my hometown. The job description reads "hourly pay + bonus/commissions." Some other searches read "SALARY" + bonuses/commissions. I am wondering if anyone knows what to expect for an hourly salary, AND how much an average amount in bonuses/commissions would be?

  • Answer:

It doesn't look like the job titles are the same from office to office. "Sales Representative", "Insurance Sales Representative", "Account Representative", "Insurance Account Representative", "Customer Service Representative", and the one you mentioned, "Office Representative", are all probably the same thing. If the wage is hourly, expect $12-$13/hr. If the wage is salaried, expect about $30,000 with annual sales commissions of about $5,500.
