What is the best job for a shy person?

Hello i'm 22 and I was wondering what are some jobs for a shy person like me. I've only had one job experience and that was through my externship I didn't really enjoy it. I don't want to have to depend on my parents all the time for stuff that I need. Any suggestions of jobs would be very helpful. Thanks.

Possibly a behind the scenes technical job like programmer, repairman, where a minimum of people interaction is required. Identifying what might not be good jobs might be simpler, salesman, hair dresser, politician, policeman might all be stressers. Being thrown into a challenging job like a salesman might force you to grow personally, becoming someone who can better carry on personal relationships.

It depends on your work experience. But try a desk job, secretary. I'm not a social butterfly myself so I stay away from retail and teller jobs. Right now I'm an asst. to a training coordinator so there's not much need to be outgoing.
Maybe you could be a professional dog walker or pet sitter!
