What is the LMUS level?

What kind of level Teaching Assistant could I be with a level 3 national diploma in health and social care?

  • Basically I'm due to finish my Level 3 national diploma in health and social care and I was hoping to be a teaching assistant as I really enjoyed the job when carrying out work experience in this field. Through further research I have seen conflicting Information for salaries and what level TA one can be etc. I was also looking for what i'd need to be a HL TA (Higher level Teaching assistant) and cannot find the answers. I would like to have a salary of £15,000 at-least as a TA but am unsure whether my qualifications would qualify for this. I have a c grade in English, Maths and Science GCSE. I also have a merit in health and social care Level 2 with a predicted grade of a Double distinction for this Level 3 national diploma in health and social care which I'm due to finish this June. Any help is really welcomed and appreciated. Thank-you

  • Answer:

TA will start with around £15K. u should get in with lvl3 ND. so no worries. as for HLTA its in service - that is u must serve minimum years and start taking the exams for it. so get that distinction and u're in all the best be the best you are the best
